The show’s ability to resonate with listeners and spark meaningful conversations played a crucial role in earning Nkqubela FM this prestigious recognition.

Station Manager, Xolani Yisaka says the best thing about these awards is that there was no voting, but they were judged by a panel of radio experts among other radio stations across the country, and they came out top.

“I regard these awards as the Oscars for radio stations in South Africa because there are no bigger awards and winning one means a lot, taking into account that the station is celebrating 20 years, what better way of celebrating these 20 years than coming back with a national award,” Yisaka.

He says this award is for the community and the listener of Nkqubela FM because their mandate is to bring content that uplifts the community that we sell.
